Zodiac Tours of Depoe Bay is located in Depoe Bay, Oregon. Depoe Bay proclaims itself as the World's Smallest Navigable Harbor and The World's Grey Whale Watching Capitol. On a normal whale watching trip, California Grey Whales will be seen within 10 minutes of leaving the harbor. We have California Grey Whales here to see almost every day of the year. The main migration of the Greys is in November and December on their way south to the warm waters of Baja Mexico, and then in March and April on their return to the Bering Sea off of Alaska.

This herd of Greys number around 18,000 individuals. Some of the whales don't complete the northern migration, but choose instead to spend the summer feeding in our area. These Local or Resident Whaleslocal give us superb whale watching while the main part of the herd is in Alaska. During the last few years we have pictures of 56 different "local" whales feeding here at Depoe Bay. So far this year we have photographed and identified over 28 different whales within less than 3 miles of Depoe Bay. Depoe Bay also has a beautiful scenic coast line to enjoy.

Our vessel, RAVEN, is a 22 foot diesel powered Zodiac with comfortable seating. Electronics include CB and VHF radios, Satellite GPS, Color Depth Finder, and Radar.
